Privacy Policy — StrengthBudget
This policy describes how StrengthBudget ("the app") handles information.
Summary
No Biutimi account is required. StrengthBudget contains no advertising, third-party analytics SDK or cross-app tracking. Biutimi does not sell app data.
Your data is stored locally by default. It leaves your device only when you enable an Apple service such as iCloud sync or Apple Health integration, transfer workout data between your own paired devices, export a backup, or choose an external destination yourself.
Data Stored on Your Devices
StrengthBudget stores your training configuration, gym and home equipment profile, exercise preferences, personal plan and revisions, custom exercises and notes, active workout state, workout events, completed history, optional working weights, feedback, exclusions and temporary pain-related blocks locally on your devices.
This information remains until you remove it with an available in-app control or delete the app. Deleting the app does not delete records already stored in Apple Health, iCloud or backup files saved elsewhere.
Apple Watch and Device Transfer
The iPhone and Apple Watch apps exchange the prepared workout, workout events and completion state through Apple’s WatchConnectivity service. This supports continuing a workout across your paired devices and resolving delayed delivery. WidgetKit complications and Smart Stack read a locally prepared summary and do not contact a Biutimi server.
Apple Health
Apple Health integration is optional and requires your permission. StrengthBudget can read basic workout records such as workout identity, source, type, date and duration so they can be shown separately alongside the app’s own training history. Imported Health records do not fill in StrengthBudget exercises, sets or working weights and do not advance your workout sequence.
When you start a workout on Apple Watch and grant write permission, StrengthBudget can create and manage its own strength-training workout in Apple Health. The app does not modify or delete workouts created by another app or device.
A local Health import cache and its synchronization marker stay on the iPhone. Health records, Health permissions and Health import data are not included in StrengthBudget file backups or iCloud synchronization. Apple handles Health data under its own terms and privacy protections.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you use iCloud sync, StrengthBudget stores supported personal app data—such as settings, equipment profiles, plan revisions, custom exercises and completed workout history—in a private CloudKit database associated with your Apple ID. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy. StrengthBudget does not receive your iCloud password.
Account or dataset changes may require you to choose whether to keep local data, use cloud data or merge them. The app can preserve revisions and conflicts for review instead of silently discarding them.
Backup, Restore and Sharing
You can export a StrengthBudget backup and choose where to save or share it through Apple’s system interface. The chosen destination handles the file under its own terms. A backup contains supported app records but not Apple Health data, permissions or an active Health workout.
Before restoring, the app shows a preview and lets you merge or explicitly replace supported app data. Backup files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.
Network, Analytics and Tracking
StrengthBudget does not operate a Biutimi user-account or analytics backend and contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. Network access is used for Apple-operated services you enable, including private CloudKit synchronization. If you open a web link or email support, the selected browser, email service or destination processes that action under its own terms.
Permissions
StrengthBudget requests Apple Health permissions only when you choose the relevant Health or Apple Watch feature. You can deny or change access in Apple Health settings. iCloud availability and access are controlled by your Apple ID and system settings.
Health and Safety
StrengthBudget is a general fitness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose pain or health conditions and is not a substitute for professional medical, physiotherapy or coaching advice.
Children
StrengthBudget is not specifically directed to children. Biutimi does not knowingly collect children’s personal data through the app.
Changes
We may update this policy when app behavior or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
